Installation

Step 1: Upload Extension Files

Upload the FileBrowser extension files to your Paymenter installation:

/var/www/paymenter/extensions/Others/FileBrowser/

Upload all FileBrowser files to extensions/Others/FileBrowser/ using SFTP or your preferred file transfer method.

Step 2: Enable Extension

Enable the extension in your Paymenter admin panel:

Admin Panel → Extensions → Others → FileBrowser → Enable

Step 3: Access File Browser

Access the File Browser from your admin panel:

Admin Panel → System → File Browser

Configuration

Security Settings

Important: FileBrowser provides full access to your Paymenter files. Only grant admin access to trusted users.

Setting	Description
Allowed Extensions	File types that can be edited (default: php, js, css, html, json, etc.)
Max File Size	Maximum file size for uploads
Root Directory	Base directory for file browsing (default: Paymenter root)

Best Practices

• Backup regularly — Always have backups before editing files
• Limit access — Only give admin access to trusted team members
• Test changes — Test file changes in a staging environment first

Usage

Browsing Files

1. Navigate to Admin Panel → System → File Browser
2. Click on folders to navigate
3. Click on files to view/edit

Editing Files

1. Click on a file to open the editor
2. Make your changes
3. Click Save to save changes

Uploading Files

1. Navigate to the target folder
2. Click Upload button
3. Select files to upload
