Security Addon | Paymenter

Game server hosting attracts fraud. Stolen cards, chargebacks, users who sign up again the moment you ban them, and free trials farmed through VPNs. Paymenter has no defences against any of it out of the box.

Security Addon adds them: block by IP, catch VPN and proxy logins, score accounts for fraud risk, and suspend abusers without deleting their billing history.

What it does

• Block IPs: stop specific addresses from logging in or creating accounts, temporarily or permanently, with a reason and notes attached.
• VPN and proxy blocking: refuse logins and signups coming through known VPN and proxy services.
• IP reputation: detect risky addresses, including Tor, and cache the result so blocking is automatic next time.
• Fraud detection: score suspicious patterns and block automatically above your threshold.
• Multiple account prevention: spot one IP behind several accounts and stop new ones being created.
• Temporary suspensions: suspend a user until a set date, or permanently, with the reason recorded.
• Login attempt limits: block an IP after a configurable number of failed logins.
• Name validation: reject gibberish names at signup.
• Discord webhooks: get a message for every security event, from blocked IPs to failed logins.
• Audit logs and whitelist: a record of every action, and a whitelist so your own staff are never caught by it.
