Add a contact and abuse page to your Paymenter.
Description
If you host game servers, someone will eventually run something on your network that upsets a third party. Upstream providers, ISPs, and compliance departments expect a public abuse contact, and without one the complaint goes to your provider instead of to you.
This adds two pages to Paymenter: a general contact form and a structured abuse report form, both protected by the CAPTCHA you already have configured.
What it does
- Abuse report form: reporter name and email, abuse type, the URL or account being reported, and a detailed description with a minimum length so you get something usable.
- Contact form: a general enquiry route for people who do not have an account and cannot open a ticket.
- Evidence captured: the reporter's IP address and user agent are recorded with the report.
- Admin inbox: reports and messages land in the Paymenter admin panel with unread counts, not in a shared mailbox.
- CAPTCHA protection: uses the CAPTCHA from your Paymenter system settings, so bots do not flood the forms.
- Theme support: works with all themes, tested with Luna and LucentUI.
Who needs this
VPS, dedicated, and game server providers in particular. Having a documented abuse route is often a requirement from the network above you, and it is far better that complaints reach you first.
