Questions from visitors arrive by ticket or by email. That works once someone is a customer, and it is slow before they are one, because a visitor comparing hosts wants an answer while they are still on the page.

LiveChat puts a chat widget on your site and keeps every conversation in the admin panel, so the history stays in Paymenter instead of a third party tool.

What it does

• The widget where you want it: the homepage, the customer dashboard, everywhere, or paths you specify. It is placed with middleware, so no theme changes are needed.
• Opening hours per day with a time zone, and a welcome message that changes as soon as you are offline.
• Conversations are stored, with unread counters on both sides and a counter in the admin menu.
• Replies from the admin panel under Live chat → Conversations, with permissions for view, reply and delete.
• Optional Discord notification on every new message, so you notice one without watching the panel.
• Thirty-eight settings and adjustable texts throughout, and the widget takes its colours from your theme.
• Optional cron: livechat:tidy every hour to keep old conversations tidy.
